Huntington News

Huntingtonnews.net has done a story on the our rescue, and you can read
that here:

http://www.huntingtonnews.net/local/100802-rutherford-localhorses.html

Thanks to Tony Rutherford for the coverage.

One side note, while I have linked to the story of the Wayne Co. rescue of the 49 horses on my website, emailed people about donating and tried to put interested parties in contact with the the Humane Society who are interested in adopting the rescue horses, I was not able to work directly with the Humane Society of the US on that case. Just wanted to clarify that part of the story.

Also, Huntingtonew.net posted a link to the Wayne Co. Horse Show photos I took in July 2010

At our Farm

At our Farm
Spring 2010
Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, and look well to thy herds. For riches are not for ever: and doth the crown endure to every generation? The hay appeareth, and the tender grass sheweth itself, and herbs of the mountains are gathered. The lambs are for thy clothing, and the goats are the price of the field. And thou shalt have goats' milk enough for thy food, for the food of thy household, and for the maintenance for thy maidens

- Proverbs 27:23-27

"I know of no pursuit in which more real and important services can be rendered to any country than by improving its agriculture, its breed of useful animals, and other branches of a husbandman's cares."

- George Washington
